What is your question?
I bought this vehicle wrecked which I repaired. Now this car did not come with a key so I had to buy one and they told me that I didnt need to have the key initialize or programmed and all I needed to do is just start the car. Well I tried and it wont crank. I called the dealer back and they mentioned that when this vehicles get into an accident their is a cable that runs from the positive side of the battery towards the middle of the trunk per say. Now this cable has a pirotechnic sensor or something in there and they mentioned that this goes out when vehicle is involved in an accident. Well I bought this cable that has this pirotechnic thingy in there and installed it and left it there for 3 hours because that's what the instructions where. So three hours went by and the car still wont start or crank. Please let me know if you may have any idea as to what its causing my car not to start. Thanks.

This sounds all wrong to me . . . this is an incredibly computer-laden, complex vehicle, and if it has undergone significant repair and had new keys made, the computer almost certainly needs some attention. The advice you received from the dealer is way too hypothetical. You'll need someone with BMW expertise and probably some factory diagnostic equipment to get to the bottom of this.
