Is there a way to waterproof thehigh amperage fuse box so it wont happen again

It looks like the drain hose failed from my sun roof and the water drained into the passenger's floorboard, which has the high amperage fusebox totally corroded. the connections on the underside just fell apart and the connections on the top side are frozen with rust. This seems like it should be repaired for free under some kind of recall. I cant find the replacement parts. Please email advise of any options.
