Transmission slips between 4th and 5th gear .goes into limp mode .turn off engine take key out. Wate a few seconds .start engine go on. I've been driving in manual for years. When you go to 5th just let off accelerator goes right into 5th

What makes this problem better or worse?

Nothing same all the time
