2008 bmw 528i has a battery drain and the car has power but wont turn over?

Have you checked the battery first to ensure that it is good in itself, able to be fully charged and able to handle a load without dropping voltage? This is the first thing to check. Once you verify a know good battery that is fully charged, then you have to check the rest of the starting system, including the starter itself.
