How do you reset the security system after battery replacement? It has no power.

What is your question?

The car has no power at all no lights gauges etc. It had some repair work done on the brakes and when we went to start it, it lit up but as soon as the starter began to engage, car went black. We believe it was the security system. We hooked the car up to a trickle charger, but still nothing. We are getting power to the capacitor but nothing is coming out from the capacitor. Checking the fuse boxes and fuses also.
