Engine light comes on and off and interior smell of gas fumes

What is your question?

The "check engine" light somestimes stay on for 2 days and then goes off. I re-appears after a couple days so does the smell of gas fumes.

Maybe a fuel tank ventilation issue. you need to have the codes read. (don't ever try to fill your fuel tank extra full, stop filling when the pump stops)
