How to repair a twisted seat on these cars.

the backs have separate cable drives under the seat...two bolts at the rear release the seat to tilt forward to tip it off the claw brackets. turn the seat sideways...the cable housings have clips holding the drive cable. the metal cable boot has to be heated with a lighter to remove it from the cable shaft..cutoff enough to expose about 1cm of cable..reheat the cap twist it into place,reinsert..repeat for all the cables which slipped....DONT MAKE THE CUT TO FAR BACK..IT WONT WORK AND YOU ARE SOL BUDDY. It is not hard and takes no special tools. use a power drill to adjust seat or adjust ons side to the other ..it may work. save $200.00 each
It really depends on what is twisted. If the seat frame is tweaked, I would not try to repair that seat. Used ones pop up on Craigslist and EBay pretty often (shipping a seat can be expensive). Local pick-n-pulls might have the right seat. If your sliders/mounts are twisted, those can also be replaced. I have to say I'm curious how the seat became twisted. Modern car seats can withstand some serious abuse (they have to survive a crash with a passenger)
