That's a tricky situation. Has it been *properly* diagnosed? If not, you could be spending money on things that don't need to be replaced.
I have a 2007 335i Conv. It's on high pressure fuel pump number 3. BMW replaced both times at no charge on a recall issue . Lifetime coverage. The second replacement was at under 51000 miles and only 6 months beyond the certified full warranty expired. I am not a mechanic but BMW diagnosed that 2 injectors were damaged probably due to the fuel pump failure. That said they had to replace all of the injectors and the bill for that was on me. I appealed to very high levels at BMW but got no help. Keep in mind the day before the pump blew all injectors were functioning great otherwise the car would indicate a problem.
