where is the car battery located

It's at the right side of the luggage compartment. These cars have (should have) AGM batteries and upon replacement the battery has to be registered to the car, which is requires an OE diagnostic tool, otherwise the intelligent charging system won't know the capacity of the battery, therefor won't allow full charge.
