I need the size for a 2011 bmw 328i my key remote I had to cut it in half in able to take out the battery but know I need to replace it with another new battery

Hello, Make a run to any auto parts store, or even the dealership parts counter. They will have the battery you need, and they will be able to look up the battery type. As for cutting the key in half, you may have to replace that as well, but if key still works, you could just purchase a third party "shell", which is just the casing for the key, and then you put the electronic components from your key into the new shell. This will save a couple hundred dollars or more.
