WOW....that's gotta be an expensive gasket he's using. I would ask for an itemized breakdown of exactly what he's doing. I found a youtube video that's 20 minutes long for replacing the valve cover gasket (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3tlQF0iwAM). Definitely ask what else they'd be replacing with this service.
