where is the fuse for the trunk light located

Unsure, i think it is powered by the light module or the FZD. Just to confirm, this is the bulb which illuminates the inside of the trunk? If you are talking about the bulbs on the trunk lid, they have common issues with the wires breaking in the rubber corrugated tubing, due to continuous opening and closing. Check all fuses visually or with a test light on both poles. The bulb normally blows, the filament might seem OK but the break is at the solder on behind the caps. Haven't seen too many fuses blow, especially from a festoon bulb as that style bulb can't short circuit unless you have a frayed wire somewhere along the line. Goodluck
