My 325xi is overheating

What is your question?

I recently put in a new fab clutch. And upon completion , it turned out our I didn't set the radiator hose all the way .drove to work at distance and it started losing cool and and spraying all over the place. Was far from home and had to had a lot of water! Before this incident my car was not overheating!! ?? Could there be too much water in the system now!!!

What makes this problem better or worse?

It's worse when engine starts to heat up
