what does the M/S +/- near the drive on the gear shifter stand for

Hello, The M/S is for shifting the transmission manually, useful if you're driving the car in a sporty manner. To use this, while the shifter is in D, move it all the way to the left. While it is there, you can pull back to upshift and push forward for a downshift. Push it back to the right for normal Drive mode, or when you're putting it back to Park.
