I believe my problem is gone now as my engine sounds good. However, I have tried to clear the service engine soon indicator on dash and it just won’t clear.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It works fine now that the solenoid was replaced

A diagnostic tool that can interface with a BMW processor must be utilized to clear trouble codes. That said -- if you're not having luck in clearing them because you don't have the proper diagnostic tools, or the code is simply not going away -- , you may need additional assistance. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
