What is your question?
Hi, I'm looking for a dependable car. I found an '04 325i online, and it looks like a good deal. Only 43k, and the clutch just got replaced. But I keep reading about all these cooling problems, and that worries me, because I'm going to be stationed (Air Force) in Las Vegas this summer, and I'm afraid to buy a car that can't handle the heat. Any suggestions? Has this car been problematic in any other ways? Also, how long do warranties typically last? This one apparantly has one... thank you!

Here are some of the common issues: http://repairpal.com/bmw-325i-2004/common_problems Try bimmerforums.com too, they are very good with BMW's.

I have an automatic 2004 325i with about 52k miles on it. I've lived in SC and GA, and never had any problems with the cooling. Just recently, my transmission started to go (odd for such low mileage I would think). I also have an airbag light on and BMW wants to replace it for $1500. The only other (minor) issue I had was that I needed to replace the insulation pad under the hood bc it was falling apart but I think that's pretty standard for a car this age. PS. BMWs are very expensive to fix. I recommend only buying/leasing them under warranty unless you buy extended coverage. (ie. replacement transmission is probably going to cost me a nice $3-5k at least).
I bought mine with 3 miles on it and now have 140k. replaced a window motor, and now power steering pump but overall amazing car
