AC will not turn on

Hello, it is possible that the system may have leaked out some or all of the refrigerant in the system that is needed to operate the air conditioning system. Seals that do not remain lubricated by normal operation can dry up and allow the gas to leak. But this is not definitive -- you have to have a test performed to find out if this is the case, or if some other problem has occurred. Too many possibilities to know for sure without hands on testing.

You will need to bring it to a shop (most have an ac machine) and have them perform an evacuation and recharge. After they fill the system and add dye, they can check for leaks. Its very likey some has leaked out as mentioned. This should run you around $125. Alex
