What is your question?
My 325i has been in/out of shop for this problem since Oct 2009. 1st at down/street shop - now at dealer in/out for 6 weeks. Dropped over $3K to dealer. replaced temp sensor and tore out dash to replace a part to restore pressure. 12 hours labor and parts. Still blowing hot in center vents. Dealer scratching head - does not want to just start replacing parts. Frustrated.

There is a blend door problem. If you are not getting the same temp out of all the vents, then the blend door which allows the heat or cool air to be directed to where you need it is off. There can be more than 1 blend door, and it sounds like the center dash blend door is the problem. It does not sound like this dealership is very sharp. If they replaced the evaporator in the dash for this problem, that was a MisDiagnosis. If part of the system was blowing cold, then the Evaporator has to be working correctly. Your issue is a problem with the distribution of the cold air and the control of the warm air, i.e. not letting it get to where you do NOT want it.
Describing what the customer is feeling is not solving his problem. He already knows what he feels and what the issue is. Criticizing the dealer is no help either - he didn't even do that. How about telling him how to fix the problem ... that's what he is asking. Some help!
