My 1995 bmw 325i will not start, why?

My key got stuck in my ignition. Friend pulled it out and it would not start after that. The same person tried to pop the ignition. Basically digging out the ignition lock cylinder. Ignition switch was replaced than tried to hotwire car, melting wires and making it smoke. I replaced the ignition switch again. A bunch of things were unplugged and plugged back in. Starter relay was replaced. After looking at all the wires the only wire that was melted and now exposed was a brown wire. I tried to start the car with the ignition switch but wont start. I have no idea what else to do to get it to start. Please help
