What is your question?
I started my car the other morning and it was about 29° outside. When I started it there was a loud pop under the hood. The car kept running so I drove it about 40 miles. Later that afternoon I went to leave and it would crank but no start I went and bought a battery and it started so I went back home. It's been 3 weeks and it still won't start. Now it's a slow rough crank with no start
How long has your 2004 BMW 325Ci had this problem?
More than a week

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your BMW 325Ci. Based on the information provided with how the engine made a "pop" sound and then went to a crank no start concern, then had the battery replaced and now it cranks slow and "rough" this can indicate several different causes from corroded battery connections, a mechanical issue within the engine itself, a failing component like the alternator, a failed fuel pump, ignition components, or even more in depth like a computer concern. The best thing to do with a concern like this is to allow a reputable repair facility to look into it to help identify which component is creating this issue so it can then be repaired properly from there.
