convertible roof unintentionally engages when I turn the key
What is your question?
when I turned the key, the windows came down slightly and I could hear the roof motor clicking but, the roof never moves and I didn't want it to anyway, I just was just locking my car also, now, the locks don't work at all and, no, I've never been able to make the roof work 2003 325ci convertible
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, there must be some kind of signal given to the motor to run the top opening sequence at the time you are describing. Unfortunately, a diagnostic tool that has body module capability is needed to see what is being commanded and what is happening when the problem occurs. Only then will you have clues as to why. now the door locks don't work. All these components seem to work together, so if one part doesn't work, the others won't either.
