My 01 325ci won't turn over at all won't even click what's the issue?

I was driving it and the oil light came on 10 mins later the car lost power and died...I put oil in it and went to start it and it won't turn over..all the gauges and lights work but won't turn over...my keys casing is broke but it has always starts the car any suggestions no noises or leaks

It sounds like maybe the engine locked up. You will need to try turning the engine by hand by turning the harmonic balancer bolt. If you can't turn it at all with a long breaker bar, the engine has seized. This will require a major rebuild or replacement. Alex
