How to reset my 2008 135i BMW

What is your question?

I Recently moved and stuffed the truck and back backseat of my BMW 135i full to capacity and my top wouldn't drop, I figured "oh my trunk is to full it will drop when I empty it" I make the move and emptied everything out of my car and drunk and still the top will not drop. after reading forums it sounds like I need to reset my top any tips or suggestions.
