nothing leaking...but gets louder in time....currently not driving....considering buying this car but hope to know what is likely problem

If you buy it I hope you get it REAL CHEAP,just factor in the price of a new or used engine and then you'll know what to spend buying this car. The only thing you can check without digging too deep is compression,sparkles in the oil,and maybe pop a valve cover off to check for sludge (signs of bad maintenance)
