Hello, For timing components, it is in your best interest to obtain diagrams. This will prevent any error in communication as to the timing marks and alignment. There is a method to timing any engine based on the angle of the camshafts v. crankshaft, but I recommend that to a professional, and typically only for a single cam engine. AlldataDIY.com is a great tool that is affordable and gives the same information the pros use, and I recommend that or purchasing the service manual. You would do well do clean the carbon from the intake ports while the engine is torn down, and if I remember correctly, the engine on this vehicle has the timing components on the rear of the engine, so pop it out of the car so you can reseal the timing cover and replace the timing chain guides.
