What is your question?
Hello, I have an Audi Q7, 2017, which has 25,000 miles. The garage advises me that the brakes on this car (disks and plates) must now be changed at a cost of $ 2,500. They even tell me that I'm lucky to have done 25,000 mile before the problem surfaced, since normally for Q7 you have to do the same maintenance every 20,000 miles and it costs over $ 2,000 each time. WOW! I'm being told stories or what? Thank you for your help
What makes this problem better or worse?
N.A.
How long has your 2017 Audi Q7 had this problem?
I have just been advised

Sounds absurd to me. Seek guidance at your local dealership. At 25,000 miles, your vehicle is still under a warranty for manufacturer defects. Certainly, wear and tear items like brake pads are not covered, but it seems a bit unusual (depending of course on driving conditions and environment!) that your brakes would wear out so quickly and require such expensive parts to be replaced. Seek another opinion, and like I said - your dealership isn't a bad idea.
