Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Audi Q5. This type of warning on your specific vehicle is what is considered a "Master" warning where it indicates various different possible causes. If the warning light is in yellow this is usually something that isn't in need to be rushed into service and can indicate things like a tire pressure concern, low fuel in some cases, etc. If the warning is in red this is a more serious concern and should be checked into right away to prevent further issues and concerns. In order to be able to identify which component is at fault so it can then be repaired properly to resolve this concern a high end scan tool needs to be plugged into your vehicle data port that is able to communicate with all computers in your vehicle to read out the fault codes. Once the codes are read out they can then be diagnosed properly to pinpoint the issue and then repaired. Once the repair is complete the scan tool is then used to erase/clear the fault code(s) which in turn will turn off the warning light.
