I had the same problem, there is a wire that leads to the trunk, to mak sure the trunk is closed during the movement of the top, mine had break in the wire near the hinge of the trunk.

I had the same problem, there is a wire that leads to the trunk, to mak sure the trunk is closed during the movement of the top, mine had break in the wire near the hinge of the trunk.
