1. What is the actual time to change out Trani Propeller Shaft Seal?

Shops use 'flat rate' times to determine how much to charge for a repair.. IF it takes half the time it's still that flat rate charge... IF it takes twice as long it still the same flat rate charge!.. It's very few times one can beat the allotted time given as many factors have to be considered.. Rusted parts maybe unexpected damage once the disassembly has been performed and 'quality' work!!.... I'm sure many shops would be glad to use the 'clock time and material' method for the final amount charged.. But you won't get an estimate prior to the work being done! .. Call around and get several estimates but be aware the cheapest isn't usually the best..
