What is your question?
2009 Audi A4 avant turbo 2.0 needed camshaft solenoid replaced at 33,000 mi. of impeccable service history. Should the timing chain have been checked at that time? And does that signify any kind of issue when it needs to be replaced that early in a car’s life? Are there inherent problems with this model and year with regards to the timing chain? I am thinking about purchasing this vehicle which has 67,000 miles on it one owner and very seldom driven but very timely and well-maintained service records

Hello, I am not seeing any service bulletins from Audi related to timing chain replacement or concerns, nor the solenoid you mentioned. In my estimation, timing chains really shouldn't need replaced for the life of the vehicle. I have seen cases of infrequent engine oil changes that have caused a timing chain to stretch and cause issues. But there is no indication with your question here that would make me think the chain should have been replaced.
