How do I fix a broken shark fin antenna cover?

What is your question?

I was pulling out of my garage today and the garage didn't open all the way and took my sharkfin cover off. I went to the dealership and they said it would cost over $1,000. I looked online and found many shark fin covers for very cheap. Does anyone have anymore insight on this problem?

Them *shark fins* are hard to get .... They swim too fast! I reckon you can order the part and have an independent mechanic install it.

Thanks for this! I am not very experienced and don't understand why I need new wires and everything if just the cover broke. Could you explain this to me? I also saw online just a universal shark fin, is that an option too?
