What is your question?
2008 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro, I’ve repaired several components to my cooling system, yet it seems that at least every 1-2 months, there’s a new problem. There’s a new leak somewhere in the system that causes coolant to leave very rapidly and for the oil pressure and coolant warning lights to go off. This issue is accompanied by a rough idle and a sweet smell whenever my car is on. If it gets really bad, which is when I try to avoid using it, when I finally turn off the car, either clear or white smoke will rise from the engine compartment. Additionally, no matter how long it’s running, the thermostat gauge never fully reaches the middle line or “operational temperature” until something goes haywire in the cooling system again. Any ideas? I feel like my mechanic just has no idea what he’s doing and I’ve already paid well over 2,000 to get several items fixed. I’m tired of having to go in multiple times because he doesn’t find the solution the first time around.
What makes this problem better or worse?
I have no idea. The first couple of days after the issue rises up again, the time between refilling the coolant becomes shorter and the engine seems to run worse
How long has your 2008 Audi A4 Quattro had this problem?
