why won't my key activate all four door locks or open my trunk?

do not have a keyless entry remote,what advice do you have on accessing the central locking pump in trunk since key will not unlock it

You say the key wont unlock the car or the trunk,, will it work to start the engine??? Check the fuses or have them checked if you can start the car!

we have the master key it locks & unlocks the driver side door & activates light for the alarm we have to manually push the locks down for the other doors,it will even close the sunroof by turning and holding the key,but the trunk lid is completely on lock down..i can hear the whining noise in the rear area of the car as described by other questions here.i have looked for a turnk release of any kind(dash pocket button)(emergency pull cable inside the trunk area) and cant locate one if it exists at all.so do you know of a way to open the trunk lid or a way to get access to the lock pump for repairs or replacement.i would also like to thank you for your advice and time

Posted another option but i see you found it. That is the only way to open the trunk to see if it is just jammed up. Just use a socket and ratchet to remove the latch bolts then open trunk!
