How many brake pad sensors do I need to purchase

Recently changed the brakes to my 2016 Audi A3 though the brake pad sensor light appears on the dash. Was wanting to replace the brake pad sensors and was wondering how many do I need to purchase? Do I need 1 sensor per brake pad? Do I need a sensor on each axle?

Hello, unfortunately it's best to order pads from Audi that have the sensors present. I'm not sure about aftermarket sensors. Consult your parts source folks. Each wheel has a sensor or two, depending on the model.
