With car locked, when I open the trunk, the car alarm goes off shortly thereafter

What is your question?

Happens only with car locked...open the trunk...and after a short delay, the car alarm will start beeping? Just hit the unlock button and obviously it stops...what is causing this annoying event?

What makes this problem better or worse?

Doors unlock button stops it...
