If the shift lever will not move from the park position, it seems as if there may be an interlock problem preventing release. This happens when you put your foot on the brake pedal - the brake switch releases the shift lever interlock, enabling you to be able to depress the shift lever button and move the lever. It's not possible from here to see or know what is happening, so definitely see a local shop near you for guidance: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
