I bought an acura tl 2003. I cant open the trunk with the key or from the inside..how can i fix it? do i need a code?

if the back seat folds down you can crawl in that way to open the trunk from the inside. once it opens, inspect the release cable for stretching and work the key and hopefully it works.
Have you figured this out yet? If not, there is a safety latch in your glove box that must be disengaged allowing trunk operation with any key other than the master key. If that toggle switch is set to lock and you are operating your vehicle with secondary keys you will need to go to your nearest dealer--because I don't believe it can be unlocked with any key except the master key either. Your keys are color coded--the black set is the master set of keys
there is a button in the glove box i think its safety thing, if it flip it the trunk will work
Have you tried the switch in the glove box? Theres a trunk lock in there.
