What is your question?
Having a problem with the transmission disengaging from time to time and on several occasions has actually jumped back into motion with jerk and thumping. Could this be the torque converter?

Heres what you need to do: 1. Visit http://owners.acura.com/Maintenance/Recalls.aspx 2. Put in your VIN and click submit 3. You should then see 2 recalls for your vehicle. The second recall "2000-03 TRANS WARRANTY EXT" is expired so you will not be able to use it. The first recall "00-04 CL & TL A/T RECALL" is still active and have heard it has no expiration date. If the car is having problems changing gears then this recall might work for you. If it says "Fixed" under status then you might not be able to use it, it needs to say "Open", but it wont hurt to talk to your dealer about it. 4. Just go to your dealer and tell them your car is having problems changing gears from and keeps slipping from 2 to 1. And MAKE SURE YOU LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE RECALL or they will try to charge you for a new/rebuild transmission. They will take pictures of the transmission and send them to Acura headquarters where they will approve or deny your recall claim. If it is approved, they will send the dealership a rebuild transmission for your car. Takes about less than a week to complete the whole process.
