The cause of my car overheating

When the car is cooled off (like first thing in the morning) check the coolant level. Are you finding coolant under the car? If not, it could indicate a deeper mechanical issue like a thermostat or water pump. Either way, don't drive the car until the issue has been diagnosed and repaired.
