brake light on

Have someone press on your brake pedal while the car is parked you do not need to have the car running and safely go behind the car and look at all the brake lights you most likely have one or more bulbs out. if you check all the bulbs and they are all good then you will need to look for a short circuit. Most likely the bulb is bad and don't forget the center brake light.
