the power window motor might have gone bad. to fix this problem you will have to take the door panel off and replace the old window motor with a new one.
my daughter bought a 1997 acura rl.. i have a 2001 bonneville... the thing with these power windows that really irates me is that they manufactures use a platic spool... and standed wire with a small eraser-sized metal crimp on the end of the wire... to wind the window up.... sooo when the window is wound up tight ... wouldn't ya know that the metal wire winds to strip the plastic spool groves and the metal eraser-sized crimp at the end of the wire would pull tru the plastic stop.. i bought new.. the complete rear window assembly the new assembly had a button-sized crimp.. no way would it pull out thru the small plastic opening..enginners are smart and work for the company...to make thins fail after a period of time is more business and to make cars harder to repair like a simple spark plug change in the days past is ridiculous.. now approx. 150.00 to have the plugs changed sucks.. The Sqeaky wheel does get the grease... If we all would complain more to the manufacturers to make simple tasks easier for us... NOT THEM.. things would change... DONT GET COMPLACENT .... The internet is so powerful.. yet we are lazy... and would rather read our e-mails for hours than complain to corporations or goverment who...WORK FOR US... THE USA... SUPPOSEDLY THE GREATEST NATION FOR NOW..... I DARE YOU... SPEND 15 MINUTES A DAY... I BET U CAN CHANGE IT THE WAY YOU WANT...but then again were so complacent in our lives and have no time... Good for us all... THE U.S. of AMERICA.
