Driver side Blend door

What is your question?

Lever that holds driver side blend door in place some how broke off car. Would need to replace the entire middle console in order to fix problem. Acura wants over 1000.00 to fix it! I’m wondering can I just replace the blend door and some how manually push the vents so that I can have heat on the driver side! Please help!!!!!!
