What is your question?
My 2005 MDX Touring has like a thumping noise that gets worse when I just barely turn the wheel. Last night it was raining and I heard a squeaking, then it sounded like I ran over a small animal. Seconds later I was merging into traffic going 70 mph when i noticed the battery symbol lit up and I had no power steering. As I drove the lights got dimmer and lights began to disappear on the instrument panel. Soon the car died and I pulled over. I lifted the hood and noticed the belt that goes around everything was gone, the sound of running over a dead animal. I used my car to starter to jump the car and drove the mile and a half to the next exit with no lights on in the middle of the night, the only way it would continue to run. It's now parked 17 miles from home at a truckstop. I did notice the thumping was still present.

thump noise is coming from engine compartment? And gets worse if you are parked and turn the steering wheel? After belt broke you can still hear this thumping noise? You need to find the closest Repair Pal shop near you and have them look at your Acura
