why would the gauges be sporadic and not accurite and the radio need some code ,

when it picked up at the lot the gauges was messed up and the radio worked but the battery got changed couse it was a bike battery after that it said it needed the code , the motor runs ruff it has codes tps vrs there are lot of lights on check engine traction control so can anyone give me some kinda clue where I should start after the fusses thanks so much
