What is your question?
My oil light came on and started flashing, a few minutes later a loud clanking or maybe more like a THUNKING like something had come out of place and was just tumbling around. sound from underneath started. I slowed way down, (I was only going 35-40 at the time) less then 20MPH, still clanking. stopped at red light and car died. I had to really pump the gas pedal to get it going again. I checked the oil and there was barely any in there. I just had an oil change a couple weeks ago. No oil puddle or signs of a leak. HELP!!!!! No signs of anything broken, None of the engine warning lights appeared after the initial stall at the red light.
What makes this problem better or worse?
I don't even know where to start...
How long has your 2004 Acura MDX had this problem?

Catastrophic failures can occur, especially on 16 year old vehicles. However, Acura's are typically solid and don't have such things typically happen. I would check with the source of your recent oil change. Perhaps they didn't fill it sufficiently? There's something leaking or not fastened properly? A professional assessment is essential. Find out what your engine needs first, then also backtrack to figure out what happened. Good luck!
