What is your question?
Just replaced my starter with new one and starter still stays engaged with flywheel for about two seconds after car starts.....this is the reason I replaced the starter to begin with.

Take to a qualified shop and have then verify operation and clearance at the flywheel teeth and starter drive teeth. Have them check for probs with the ignition switch causing it to stay in the start mode too long after moving to the run mode.
I guess failed to mention the started was replace by a acura service department.....you would think they would have checked all that stuff......
After replacement it is common practice to recheck the repair and if functions normally hand the cust the keys. If the probs I said to look for were not there during the before and after inspection then that is all they can do. Intermittent probs or probs that show up after the recheck cannot not be predicted like with a crystal ball. I truly feel for you, so take back to the dealer, have them verify their work and if you still have prob then they will need to go further and find the OTHER problem you had that damaged the starter to begin with and do a seperate repair for that. As always it is your choice where you take it.
