Hello, a flashing check engine light always indicates an engine misfire. This is likely due to spark plugs that are not firing properly due to possible coil issues or base engine cylinder issues. This is something that needs to be addressed right away without driving the vehicle further. Continuing to drive the vehicle with a flashing check engine light will result in additional damage to very expensive components such as the catalytic converter. The VTM light indicates a problem probably related to the check engine light. However testing will be required to verify what is going on in all areas of engine and drivetrain performance.
