The reminder light is just a counter it does not know when the oil is changed if the shop does not reset it , it will eventually come on. To reset MAINT REQ'D light, turn ignition switch to OFF position. Push and hold the Trip or Select and the reset buttons simultaneously. Turn ignition switch to ON (II) position, and continue to hold buttons for more than 10 seconds.
