Rear hatch wiring

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I appreciate that you have a problem with your wiring. There are two ways to repair this. One - get the entire correct harness for this part of the vehicle. This could be a bit elaborate and detailed, as it likely covers more than just the rear hatch area. Of course - the harness on a 2002 Acura may no longer be available anywhere. Two - make wiring repairs to the damaged wiring. When done properly and safely, this method is perfectly reasonable. If there are many wires damaged it could take some time and effort, but it's totally possible to be accomplished.
