Acura 2002 MDX Navigation intermittent power

Hello, I'm not even sure Acura expected that the navigation system of a 20 year old Acura would function that far down the road. The system is by far inferior and antiquated by standards even 10 years ago. I believe this one is operated with an on board DVD. The DVD could be damaged or hard to read, the DVD player itself could be malfunctioning (remember: the laser in a DVD player is not meant to last forever). There could also be a software problem. I'd recommend hands on diagnostic testing at a local Acura dealership or original equipment automotive audio system repair facility near you.
